Embedding tactics of digital image watermarking based on rough set theory

Aimed at the feasibility of using rough sets theory in digital image watermarking technology,a method for selection of embedding tactics for watermark information was put forward based on the rule induction of rough sets.The carrier image was regarded as a knowledge system,the attributions were set and divided into some different equivalence classes according to the request of visual effect or robustness of watermarking algorithm.Suitable positions for watermark information to be embedded were selected through the reduction of attributes and metering of determinacy factors.After the experiments carried on the tested images,the validity and expansibility of this method were verified.
