Reverberation and Music Emotion Experience

Three experimental series were carried out to study the relationship and interactive influence between reverberation and music emotion. The best reverberation time for music feeling and the subjective emotion from music property were probed along with the influence of reverberation on depth of the music emotion. It was shown that there are indefinite relationships between reverberation time in sound place and subjective emotion, music feeling and understanding of the audiences. A further studying of this topic could be benefited to music creation and appreciation.
