A Method of Transfer from Transaction Data to a Data Warehouse

Data transfer is the link between the transaction data environment and decision-making supporting environment. Problems arising from data transfer are discussed. Main steps in data transfer like data extraction, data cleansing, data transformation and data integration are detailed. Some measures are presented to solve these problems. Finally an example of data transfer is given in this paper.
