Design of Modem Hardware Abstract Layer Interface Based on Software Communications Architecture

As the Software Communications Architecture(SCA) being widely researched and applied,to obtain the oneness of management and standardization of communication on the SCA hardware platforms that include specific processing unit like DSP and FPGA,improve the transplant ability and reusability of waveform application on different SCA hardware platforms,the concept of Modem Hardware Abstract Layer(MHAL) is proposed.This paper takes General Purpose Processor(GPP) and DSP as example,concretely describes the function of MHAL and its Application Programming Interfaces on GPP and DSP.
