Design of voltage controlled laser current source with protection

A analog circuit is adopted to design a voltage control current source,whose output is up to 10 A. A function for DC operating point setting is added according to operating characteristics of semiconductor laser. It has the functions of power on protection,slow start-up,output enabled delay,output current limitation. The derivation process of current source output is given in this paper. The single 5 V power supply is selected in this design,which has the characteristics of little size and high reliability.
