The Web-based gateway monitoring, which is very flexible monitoring method, could also make the manager look into the gateway's running even if he is absent from the gateway host or management station. In this paper, the principle and method of the Web-based monitoring developed with AdventNet SNMP API/RMI are analyzed and applied.
