Research and Design of Distributed PACS Based on XML

To improve the communion and resource sharing between PACS and PACS and members in PACS, this paper brings forward the use of XML in DICOM network communication. This will greatly reduce the complexity of DICOM network communication, and strengthen the adaptability and expansibility. Further more, it brings in a new DICOM network model, based on which much research and design have done.
