Analysis of Risk Factors of Lightning Damage to Underground Buildings

To solve the problem that risk of lightning damage to underground buildings is hard to determine, the theory of lightning to underground buildings was analyzed, and the possible ways that the lightning damage the underground installations and lines are given as well as the source of lightning damage suffered by the underground building and the traffic facilities. A group of risk factors to evaluate the lightning risk of underground buildings was given. It is indicated that the number of grounding points of buried cable, the burial depth of buried cable as well as the grounding mode of optical cable can be used as the risk factors to evaluate the lightning risk of underground buildings.
