The Research on Partially Dynamic Reconfiguration for FPGA and Its Implementation Based on Bitstream
Lina Shang · Bulletin of Science and Technology · 2008
Partially dynamic reconfiguration on FPGA is a hotspot in the research field of reconfigurable systems. This paper first makes an analysis of the two methods for partially dynamic reconfiguration, module based and difference based, and then introduces another method based on the bitstream configuration files which can overcome the disadvantages of the previous two methods. Finally, the implementation of this bitstream method is validated.
