A New Evidence Combination Method based on Weight Coefficients

D-S evidence theory is an efective method of processing imperfect information.It is widely used in data fusion systems.However,it involves counter-intuitive behavious when the high conflict inform ation exists.Conflict management is a major problem especially during the fusion of various information sources.A new evidence combination method is presented here.In this improved method,the importance of the evidences is calculated.It enhances the rationality and reliability of the evidence combination through introducing weight coefficients and better results can be acquired.
