A municipal professional network data model based on metadata modeling

This paper designed a multi-level metadata model,and studied on a good adaptive municipal professional network data model which is based on the metadata model. The multi-level metadata model is constituted with meta-item,meta-type and meta-category,and is implemented by relational database. The instance of the metadata model and the traditional GIS pipeline data model make up the municipal professional data model. Based on the municipal professional network data model,the water GIS could efficiently meet the demands of water supply companies and the business diversities.
