iSCSI had become one of the most important SAN protocol. This topic designed the method that Ethernet network card virtualizated to SCSI host bus adapter on iSCSI protocol. And related virtual device driver was developed in windows and Linux OS platform. The mapped SCSI hard disk took on the same access mechanism as local disk. The virtual driver provided disk access relocated service to the host application program or file system. The read/write ability of the mapped SCSI disk was tested. And displayed the ability tend to 70% line speed of 1000M Ethernet. The application showed that the virtual driver method was a more economical SAN mode,It break through limited of physical distant of SCSI connection,it also realize the demand of long distant work host share with SCSI RAID.The method carried out the smooth transport from SCSI DAS to IP SAN.
