A TCP Congestion Control Strategy based on Multi-path Load Balance in Wireless Networks

Aiming at the congestion problem in wireless networks,a TCP congestion control strategy based on multi-path load balance is proposed.This strategy includes two parts:the congestion detection and congestion control.The congestion detection,based on band-width estimation,can effectively distinguish from error-based packet loss from congestion-based packet loss.When congestion is detected,the congestion control strategy based on multi-path load balance and the mechanism of multi-path packet distribution are used to solve this problem,thus avoiding the O-O-O(Out Of Order) problem.This strategy effectively raises the throughput and reduces the end-to-end delay.
