TSM is a transitional protocol from GSM to TDSCDMA All the development companies spend more time and money on it during developing the TDSCDMA For any mobile telecommunication, the random access procedure is unavoidable, it will influence the system performance directly,hence, it is very necessary to study and analyze the performance of random access in TSM system This paper introduces the random access procedure and its access capability At last, the result will be simulated and analyzed
