Characteristics and genetic of bentonite deposit from Yusi basin in Fuxin

With systematic study on bentonite deposit including Erdaohe, aipingxiang, Dawujiazi Beiwopeng and Xiazhalanboluo,this paper revealed characteristics and metallogenic regularity of bentonite deposit from Yusi basin in Fuxin. This study made an analysis on bentonite characteristics, deposit geological feature, genetic type and generalized its significance for prospecting. For recent years of exploration, the proved reserves of bentonite deposit were more than 80 million tons, which belongs to a large scale. There were mines existing periphery mine area that has good prospecting perspective.
