Research of GML Based Data Compression in Mobile GIS

Based on the analysis of GML based data compression characteristics among the mobile computing environment:semantics isomorphism,maintain topology of time and space and self-adaptive compression,the method of GML based data compression model is proposed.The model is constructed using semantics coding,semantic space clustering and wavelet analysis.Experimental results show that the compression method in three categories has good basic performance.The GML based data compression technology proposed in this paper has a certain value for the theoretical and technological researches of mobile GIS data sharing.
