Research on QoS Based on Real-time Transport Protocol

The applications of Real-time business especially real-time multimedia stream business become more and more extensive cnrrently and require a higher qnality of service (QoS),with the development and popularization of Intemet technology.This paper designs an adaptive flow control mechanism based on the analysis about factors of affecting the real-time transmission QoS,and using the packet loss rate to determine the current network congestion or not as a reference volume.And the mechanism uses the method of variable constant g-rowth and Multiplication reduction to adjust the sending rate results adaptively.The simulation results show that the mechanism can improve the QoS of real-time transmission effectively.
