With the construction of modern urban development,GIS play important roles which have the unique space for mass data management on the advantages of urban construction and development,especially in dealing with the establishment of city gas pipeline systems.The author combines practical project on oil and gas pipeline monitoring management information system to establish a systematic analysis.
