As an information system with the capabiliyt of data acquaintance,analysis,processing,the distribution GIS management information system has a well perspective in electric industry.In this paper,the current situation of distribution management and its shortcomings in electric industry has been analyzed,and then illustrated its application of distribution GIS management information system.
