APPLICATION OF HIGH-ORDER STATISTICS IN GEOPHYSICS

High-order statistics is a useful tool for studying non-Gaussian processes,non-mini- mum phase systems and nonlinear systems.The method of high-order statistics has been ap- plied widely in different fields such as Communication,Geophysics,Biomedical,Fault Diag- nosis,etc.This paper summarizes the main theoretical results about applications of high-order statistics in geophysics.
