Analyzing the history of studying spatial-temporal data model and the characteristics and shortcomings of various spatial-temporal data model,it is explained that the current status of the spatio-temporal data model and progress of the study.Establishing a spatio-temporal data model in a geographic information system to manage spatio-temporal data,it must be established that the practical spatio-temporal data model based on raster data.
