Feasibility Study on the Application of RFID System in University Library

The development of RFID technology has promoted its application in the library.Based on the comprehensive considerations about the cost,technical stability,service extensibility,and information security,etc.,this paper probes into the feasibility of applying RFID system in university library,and points out that university library should draft the business development and implementation plan in accordance with the practice of the library and according to the features of different businesses and shouldn't adopt RFID system only for introducing the new technologies.
