Application of DDS in Digital Array Radar

In this paper we firstly introduce the concept,architecture,features and key parameters of the direct digital synthesizer.Secondly,we discuss the overall solution of digital array module in phased array radar based on DDS.Thirdly,we focus on the design of DDS module in digital array module.Because of the advantages of fine frequency resolution,fast switching speed and convenient waveform change,DDS can improve the ability of the whole radar system.In the end,the experiment result of digital array module is given.
