A Scheme of Virtual Machine Pricing and Allocation in Mobile Cloud Computing

To deal with the management of virtual machine in mobile cloud computing, a virtual machine pricing and allocation scheme is proposed. Considering the impact of service blocking to user utility, this scheme analyzed the virtual machine pricing and allocation by using Stackelberg game model. The closed-form expression of optimal pricing is derived and the optimal pricing is searched by the particle swarm algorithm for virtual machine static and dynamic scheduling, respectively. The experimental results show that our scheme can control the network blocking with pricing strategy and improve the utility of mobile users and cloud providers effectively.
