Link quality analysis(LQA) is a key measurement process in adaptive frequency hopping(AFH) communication systems and results in adaptive frequency and power control. An analysis method based on a signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) prediction algorithm for received signal is proposed for fast frequency hopping systems. The method achieved SNR prediction,SNR estimation and threshold comparison, achieved by Kalman-Filter,subspace based estimation and error probability performance analysis, simulated in FH/BFSK system.Result shows that the estimation and prediction method exhibited low error rates when the actual SNR ranges from 0~25dB,so that the method can be used to estimate the channel quality of fast adaptive frequency hopping system.
