FTA-based fault diagnosis expert system for hydraulic braking system of airplanes

Fault diagnosis expert system will direct the operators to eliminate a variety of failures quickly and exactly.A knowledge base of expert system was established using FTA,and it can eliminate the bottleneck of knowledge acquisition of expert system and improve the inferring efficiency.This paper analyzed the failures of hydraulic braking system of a certain airplane by using FTA.The fault tree of this brake system was plotted and a qualitative analysis was made.The practical application proved the usefulness of the brake system.
