Design of Data Interface Platform for Unit Operation Optimization Systems

The design of a data interface platform for unit operation optimization system was proposed in this paper.The platform employs API to communication with the SIS database,openPlant.OPC,a general and open specification dedicated for industrial software,was further used for communication between the functional modules of the optimization system.The OPC server and the man machine interface of the platform were developed us ing Wintech OPC toolkit and Kingview configuration software,respectively.The configurable characteristic and OPC specification make the platform relatively open and versatile.The field test result shows that the design and implementation of the platform was reliable and the interface platform was much applicable for the unit operation optimization system.
