Robust DS-CDMA multiuser interference suppression based on orthogonal auxiliary-filter --II: Space-time receivers

Two new spacetime detection schemes are proposed for DSCDMA communications. Spatial beamforming followed by dispreading filtering and Rake combining is used in Scheme 1, while in Scheme 2 spacetime Rake filtering is implemented before dispreading. Besides, the CMSAV(1) technique is applied to dispreading filtering, the MSAV(1) technique is extended to spaceonly filter optimization in Scheme 1 and to spacetime Rake filter optimization in Scheme 2, respectively, to obtain more effective interference suppression than the single antenna detector based on the MSAV(1) technique presented in Part Ⅰ of this study.
