Study of historical data archiving strategy in data warehouse

Considering applying XML into archiving strategy is bccause of its independence with system and platform,to gain compact compressed format and to express easily.Code recovery technology was adopted to ensure the integrality and usability of archiving data in organizing historical data.It is necessary to map relationship model into XML model and then transfer data in database into XML document.This paper introduced how to map relationship model into XML model in archiving of historical data in data warehouse in details.
