Application of Time Series Analysis Method in Groundwater Level Automation Monitoring

Automation monitoring instruments have been widely used in groundwater level monitoring,but scientific sampling interval of the instruments should be paid attention to because of data redundancy,lack of money and waste of resources.In this paper,the relation between sampling interval and monitoring precision is build by using time series analysis method.And three suggestions are made for the groundwater observation wells in the Huabei Plain as follows: 1) Sampling interval should be large enough for manual monitoring;2) Sampling interval and monitoring measures should be adjusted according to necessity;3) Sampling interval should be small enough for automation monitoring.
