Improvement on Red-black Wavelet Transform

Based on the energy conservation the multi-subband decompesing of red-black wavelet transform is presented.Then form the lifting scheme of 9/7 a new red-black wavelet transform is got.In this new transform the original process of prediction-update becomes prediction-update-prediction-update.In image compression the PSNR of the new transform is larger 0.7than that of the primal red-black wavelet transform.
