The wireless local area network( LAN) is growing very fast, and the security of LAN plays an important role in the development of it. This article analyses the security mechanisms of LAN, explains the common loopholes of it from the spread-spectrum technology, access control, authentication and encryption. In the end this article provides its security policy.
