An improved model of the best gateway selection Jelger algorithm

Ad hoc network is a network of wireless mobile communication,which is a dynamic self-organized network system consisting of wireless mobile nodes.For the mobile nodes of an Ad hoc network to be connected with the Internet and to communicate with peers of the Internet,foreign agents(gateways) are necessary.Therefore,the key technical requirements for access to the Internet are the discovery of the foreign agents,the selection of foreign agents when there exist many foreign agents and the shift between different foreign agents.Based on a study of the current selection algorithm,Jelger algorithm,this paper proposes an improved algorithm.Simulation results showed that the algorithm proposed in this paper appeared to have improved performance.
