Variable Step-size Adaptive Weighted Time Delay Estimation Algorithm with Arctangent Transform

According to the characteristic of impulsive noise environment,and combined with the ideas of variable step-size,weighted and nonlinear transform,a new kind of adaptive weighted time delay estimation algorithms under α stable distributions is presented in this paper.The simulation results show that the new algorithm has solved the performance degradation problem lead by improper value of fixed step-size in traditional algorithm,and improve the limitations of traditional adaptive weighted algorithm.The new algorithm is applicable to the whole value range of α,and it showed the good toughness.
