Watermarking Based on Energy Region and Texture Feature
Leida Li · Microelectronics & Computer · 2007
In this paper, a robust algorithm WET based on modulating the low-mid frequency DCT coefficients energy relationship to embed watermark is proposed. During the modulation, a theorem deduced from the texture features and energy modulation model is employed to restrict the modified magnitude of coefficients. This system is of large data payload and high computational efficiency, and is capable of embedding 8192 bits of information in images with dimensions 512×512 pixels. Experimental results indicate that the presented scheme is transparent and robust to significant volumetric distortions (including additive noise,low-pass filtering and lossy compression) and a part of geometric distortions.
