Quality Control of GPS Height in Precise MBS Measurement

In precise multibeam measurement,GPS RTK/PPK height plays an important role in providing instantaneous vertical datum.It is very necessary to implement quality control for GPS height in order to acquire a high quality instantaneous vertical datum of the transducer.Therefore,an integrated method,which is Heave modification for short-time abnormal GPS height records and the synthesis modification by blending tidal level,dynamic squat and Heave for the modification of long-time abnormal GPS height records,is given in the paper.This integrated method of quality control eliminates efficiently abnormal records and replaces abnormal records with blended records,which improves the final accuracy of multibeam results in vertical direction.Experiments proved it credible and accurate.
