DR Image Enhancement Based on Nonlinear Unsharp Mask

Objective: In order to improve image quality,unearth decision-making information from the image,this paper presents the contrast enhancement algorithm based on Radiographic Contrast-enhancement Mask(RCM).Methods: Firstly,Radiographic Contrast-enhancement Mask(RCM)was proposed to adjust image contrast and brightness by compressing dynamic range of images and highlighting region of interest in images.Secondly,Non-linearity Unsharp Mask(NLUSM)was proposed to enhance non-linear edge in images.Conclusions: Our method enhanced useful features and image details in DR images,facilitating clinical diagnosis.
