Census Stereo Matching based on DSP

Stereo matching is the one of the most important step in the computational stereo. Because of the requirement of mass computation power,the optimization tasks become the first thing we have to do in most real-time applications. And real-time stereo also become the hot spot in the research of computational stereo. This paper tried to solve this problem in both algorithm and DSP implementation.The Census matching is introduced and analyzed. Then the mapping between the algorithm and DSP architecture is well designed and finely tuned. Experimental results show that the proposed method is effective.
