The Contrast on Different Wavelet Basis Function for Gross Error Detection

Jian Wang · Beijing Surveying and Mapping · 2011

In this paper, gusts of selecting wavelet basis function in gross error detection are discussed based on the dynamic deformation signal which has isolated error, dispersed error and regional error.Decomposed layers, support block, regularity and vanishing moments are tested in a series of experiments to estimate the functioning of different wavelet basis function.Experimental results show that in the cases investigated in this paper, the abilities of detecting regional error are more or else;as for the isolated error, wavelet basis function which have smaller support block, better regularity or higher vanishing moments should be selected;as for the dispersed error,we should select the wavelet basis function which have bigger support block, better regularity or lower vanishing moments.Better effect is obtained by decomposing the dynamic monitoring signal in this paper with five layers.
