An object oriented hierarchical data model is designed to describe spatial features and their relations.The data base design in combination with business GIS to realize spatial features can overceme the shortages of the “mixed” data model of current business GIS. Its design is described with emphasis on object oriented hierarchical data model and the mapping from object oriented data model to MGE.
