The author introduces the basic structure and operation way of the crude oil terminal control system,describes the application of the control system on the crude oil terminal construction project in detail,points out that this control system is a large comprehensive system,can be classified into several layers according to its function,such as direct control layer,production scheduling layer,process supervision layer and data management layer etc..
