Optimal Search Model for Motif Discovery

In this paper we propose an optimal search model for motif discovery in Bio-informatics.Special considerations are given to the case where the resources(such as computing time) are limited and therefore the traditional methods may fail to give any result.Under the time constraint an optimal search strategy for motif discovery is derived based on the optimal search theory,an algorithm is given and some experimental results are presented.
