Realization for Multimodality Medical Image Registration Based on ITK

Multimodality image registration is a key technology of medical image registration.Currently,though there are a lot of sophisticated algorithms of image registration,it is difficult for the investigators in defect of software development experience to steer these complicated algorithms.A algorithm of image registration based on the maximum mutual information is used to introduce the application of ITK database function in the image registration,including the handle process,the way of data input and output,the edit and run method of the algorithm.The experiment shows that the registration algorithm based on ITK can simplify the work of the medical image registration.Lastly,an example is achieved in image guidance for the clinical diagnosis of application.
