Object-oriented GIS data model and its implementation

The object-oriented data models’s four abstract concepts—classification,generalization,aggregation,combination and two semantic tools of inheritance and derivation were firstly introduced.Then the application of object-oriented data models in the geographic data model and attribution data model of geographic information system(GIS)and the way,which O2 database management system in GIS was implemented,were emphatically discussed.
