Identification of synchronous generator parameters including magnetic saturation

Unlike the linear model used in traditional research on synchronous generators,a model including the effect of magnetic saturation was introduced.The ant colony algorithm was incorporated into the model to identify synchronous generator parameters and its process is presented in detail.A case study indicates that the new model can efficiently improve the precision of the parameters.
