Based on the comparison between amorphous alloy core transformers and S11 transformers in technical capability and economic performance,it is expounded that the superiority of amorphous alloy core transformers in energy conservation depends on their technical capability.The no-load loss and active loss of amorphous alloy core transformers are lower than those of S11 transformers.As to economic performance,the service life of amorphous alloy core transformers is about 5.5 years longer than that of S11 transformers.
