Design and Implementation of Video Capture System Based on DirectShow

Traditional video capture techniques have many defects and they are not suitable for present video applications. According to thesituation, this paper introduces an advanced video capture system based on DirectShow. This video capture system makes full use of the closeintegratation of DirectShow and WDM video capture cards. And it employs the component object model architecture. All this makes the videocapture system free of the traditional defects and the system’s running effect is satisfactory.
