Research Advances and Application of Data Mining in Hydrological Time Series

The theory and technology of time series data mining was introduced in this paper.Based on the summary of research advances of data mining in hydrological time series at home and abroad,the technology and application of hydrological time series data mining were further discussed.Moreover,the future research directions were drawn,including classification,clustering,similarity search,pattern recognition,tendency analysis and periodicity analysis.The aim of this study is to establish the theory framework of hydrological time series data mining more complete.
