Research on Novel Sensors of Over-Current Protection Based on GPTC

Over-current protection plays a crucial role in the reliability of the circuit protection.At present,there are some problems of over-current protection based on PPTC components,such as incomprehensive protection,non real-time,in compatibility of electronic components.For the first time,a novel over-current protection system based on the GPTC element is presented by using microelectronic components.The test shows that GPTC can overcome the drawbacks of PPTC,realize the full coverage,high stability and strong real-time for over-current protection.
