On Prediction Information System of Construction Land Demand Based on GIS

The demand prediction of construction land is the core of overall planning in land-using,as well as an important basis of land management.At present there are many methods and models on construction land demand prediction,but these are mainly built on the basis of mathematics and statistics,which need high specialized ability,while automation is low the direct-viewing and visible effect is unsatisfactory.These methods and models haven't made good use of the rapid developed GIS technology.A predication system was set up based on the study of construction land demand prediction model.The system was proved practicable through case study.The system is a bold attempt on realizing the automation,visibility the modernization of construction land prediction.It has some reference value.
